Hi Hank,

My name is Alice Maupin. I think we met a couple of times in the mid-1970's. I lived with John for 2 or 3 years when we were going to CalArts, then living on Beachwood Drive in Hollywood.

I just found out that John died in 2017. In the words of James Taylor, "I always thought I'd see you again." Now that's impossible. John had a killer sense of humor. I loved his guitar playing and hippie sensibilities. I think about him every day now and wonder how he died. Thanks for shedding light on his story.
